Building up the sea and the ground

The sky is mostly white.

I gradate the sky from a pale cobalt blue to a lemony hue on the horizon. I use the sky colour to mix up the sea colour which contains more darker paint, burnt sienna and ultramarine. I soften yhe horizon with the lemony hue using cotton buds to blend the paint.
